Vital Signals Japanese and American Video Art from the 1960s and 70s

A retro spective video art screening will be held in Yokohama Museum of Art.
Taka iimura from VCT also takes part in video screening with his video pieces as "Camera, Monitor, Frame"('76), "Observer/Observed", "Man and Woman" etc.

MEDIAWAVE from Hungary opens call!

Although the deadline is coming soon, the call for entry to MEDIAWAVE International Film and Music Festival'2010 is still open.

Submissions are open to films of all genres (fiction, animation, documentary, experimental, music video or other), of any length (both short and feature), from any nations of the world.

The deadline for submissions is 1 December, 2009.

What's Far East Audio Visual Socialization？
Far East Audio Visual Socialization (hereafter, FEAVS) is a conceptual group, established for FEAVS 2009.
The main activities are organizing of FEAVS 2009 Audio Visual Festival, the planning, curating, PR and running the FEAVS.

The purpose of FEAVS is to hold the event or the festival of Audio Visual works once every two years, to introduce works by Audio Visual artists. Artists using various methods of production from different regions and representing diverse points of views will be involved in FEAVS 2009. FEAVS presents to consider social system through the various art scenes as well.
