VIDEOART LIBLARY info.

Videoart Library archives works, books, documentation, and information
ranging from Japanese to world-wide artists and art scene, to make a view
of history and the present of videoart. The library collects the works which
is considered to be important from the viewpoint of VCTokyo, even if they
hardly have a chance to be shown in Japan. Besides that, one aim of
the library is to emancipate videoart from the limited occasion to reach
out many audience. The library has more than 100 works of over 10
artists in Japan and foreign countries, documentation of Video Artist
Workshop, and information about festivals.

At VIDEOART LIBRARY,
a visitors can preview videoart works from our library catalogs. Also one
can read documentation of historic video festivals, videoart workshops,
and other information on videoart around the world. Reservation is required
prior to your visit. Please call, fax, or e-mail us to make reservation. When
you reserve by fax or e-mail, please indicate date and time you wish to visit
and also your contact information.

We will open,
every sunday: 14:00-18:00 (reservation required), desk open until 17:00
