VIDEOART CHANNEL


About VIDEOART CHANNEL

VIDEOART CHANNEL --- is an event held once in three months (Feb, May, Aug, and Nov) at the POLA Museum ANNEX (Ginza, Tokyo). This introduces videoart scenes and the backgrounds of artists group's activities from all over the world. Works and references of them are written in both English/Japanese.

In November VIDEOART CHANNEL introduces videoart from African countries, mainly featuring  the artists initiative group, "PULSE,” in Durban, South Africa. For the most videoart works, this will be the first time in Japan to be screened, as a total new art scene formed in the swirl of globalism and localism.
